Christopher M. Rudeen is a teacher and historian living and working in Virginia and Massachusetts.
He is currently an assistant professor in the Honors College at Virginia Commonwealth University, where he teaches research writing. He was previously a lecturer of history at Smith College. He earned his Ph.D. from the Department of the History of Science at Harvard University, with a secondary field in Studies of Women, Gender, and Sexuality.
His work explores the history of the mind sciences and the ways in which external objects and conditions are used to study internal life.
